YourSmartHost Refund Policy

YourSmartHost is committed to transparency and reliability in web hosting services. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or account credits may or may not be provided.

1. General

All payments for services provided by YourSmartHost are non-refundable, except as explicitly described in this policy. By using our services, customers agree that payments are final.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Activated hosting services
  • Renewal payments
  • Domain registration, transfer, or renewal
  • Setup or administrative fees
  • Bandwidth overage charges
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Customers are responsible for reviewing their service details before purchase.

2. Bandwidth Usage and Overage Charges

Each hosting plan includes a monthly bandwidth allowance. Customers exceeding the limit are responsible for additional charges.

YourSmartHost may suspend or terminate accounts that exceed bandwidth limits. No refunds will be issued for overage charges or service interruptions caused by exceeding bandwidth allocations.

3. Resource Usage Violations

To maintain service stability, YourSmartHost prohibits certain activities, including:
  • Excessive CPU usage (≥25% for >90 seconds)
  • Running distributed computing, file-sharing, P2P, or gaming servers
  • Hosting unattended server-side processes or IRC-related services

Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or terminated without notice, and no refunds will be given.

4. Service Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades or downgrades are effective only in the next billing cycle. Refunds are not issued for plan changes or upgrades.

5. Service Termination

Unused services are non-refundable, except in limited legal circumstances (e.g., insolvency or bankruptcy). Customers remain responsible for all charges incurred prior to termination.

6. Policy Changes

YourSmartHost reserves the right to update this Refund Policy. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
